Like entwined feathers, the stamped strips create a pliable shape in the air that is charged with sensuality, creating an overall airiness and interesting plays of light and shadow. Designed by Miguel Herranz, the Mikado family of lamps won 2007 Design Plus Prize of ''Light and Building'' in Frankfurt and the 2008 Good Design Award.
